2 sticks butter

2 cups flour

3/4 cup powdered sugar

Combine and bake in 9 x 9 pan for 30-35 minutes at 325 degrees.

 

This is not finalized.  Notes so far are to ensure the butter is soft but stays below melting.  When the structure of butter changes the cookies become oily.

I whipped the butter and sugar until light and creamy then folded the flour in.

The top of the cookies should be very slightly colored.

I also use parchment paper to line the pan.
