I am making this website to have a place I can keep our family recipes.  When my son Tobin was one years old we bought him a stand so he could reach the kitchen counter and cook with me.  He is 5 now and has continued to spend time in the kitchen.  He went from banging plastic pots together to measuring ingredients and reading recipes.

I'm using Joomla to manage the website which should let me easily create new recipes and automatically add them to the recipe page and easily tag them so all of the recipes can be searched.  Once I have enough recipes I will probably add more categories - right now there is 1 category: recipes.  I also want to easily find recipes without navigating 12 different adds and 12 pages of writing that usually have very little to do with the recipe.  My template right now is to have the list of ingredients, instructions after the ingredients and then a little history of the recipe or tips and substitute ingredients I have used.
